Hostal Ciudad Condal is a concept hotel in Barcelona, Spain. It is family-owned, affordable and charming. Located on the second floor of a private modernist building in the centre of Barcelona, it is just a two-minute walk from the famous architectural ensemble known as the “Block of Discord”, due to the contrasting styles of three buildings designed by the most important Catalonian modernist architects: the Casa Batlló by Gaudí; the Casa Lleó Morera by Lluís Domènech i Montaner and the Casa Amatller, designed by Josep Puig. It is also considered a landmark on the so-called European Route of Modernism, an initiative that joins the efforts of 57 cities to promote their “Modernist heritage”.
We enjoy a privileged location at the heart of the tourist and commercial centre of Barcelona, between Paseo de Gracia and Rambla de Catalunya (the main shopping streets in the city), one minute from the famous "La Pedrera" building designed by Gaudí and just a few minutes away from Plaza de Catalunya and many other points of interest that make Barcelona one of the most attractive and cosmopolitan cities in the world.
Renovated and expanded in 2008, the Hotel has 20 guest rooms, especially designed to offer you a pleasant stay. Some rooms have balconies with a view of the main street, others are interior rooms and others have a view of the inner gardens of Barcelona’s Ensanche, known as the “Plà Cerdà”. All our rooms are quiet and cosy.
